 Time Flies...

Well, it sure looks as if 

Harriet

is gone, and M15 ( Dad) is having to finish 

raising the two eaglets by himself.

He seems to have a hungry female admirer  

plaguing  him for his hunting skills & attention.  

She doesn't much like his kids tho,

she kicks them and steals their food.

Ah well, Dad's doing a great job so far,

feeding 4 eagles...his two offspring, himself

and the new hussy.

Knows I am a big follower of the

Southwest Florida Eagle Cams

and the annual adventures of 

Harriet & M15

and their sweet little eaglets.

On Saturday, February 10, 

an intruder, another large Bald Eagle

Landed on the nest while M15 was feeding the eaglets.  

M15 Pushed the intruder out of the nest, and Harriet took off chasing it...

...and she hasn't been seen since. 

 Today's chat was all

worry

anxiety

affection

praise for M15's care for his kids

and hope for Harriet's return.
